What to expect
The Wind River Range in Central Wyoming is a popular backpacking destination, famous for its peaks, clear high alpine lakes, fly fishing and stargazing. On this trip, you will spend a week hiking five to seven miles a day deep into untouched remote wilderness.

Jack Thornton
Jack Thornton is a rising Junior at the University of Notre Dame, where he is earning a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Theology. He enjoys thoughtful discussions on religion and ethics, and hopes one day to teach at a major university. He is also a great lover of the outdoors. He grew up backpacking through the Cascade Mountains in his home state of Oregon, and has always enjoyed fishing, kayaking and stargazing.
